Aktau Maintenance Engineer - Urgent, International Oil and gas Company

Maersk Oil Kazakhstan GmbH is currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to start-up and manage the new maintenance department of the on-shore Dunga Field facilities. The job involves implementation of planned preventive maintenance procedures and guidelines and support to the field maintenance teams. The position reports directly to the Resident Manager.

The candidate is expected to meet the following requirements:

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Not less than 10 years broad experience in the international oil and gas industry primarily in maintenance/production sphere.
• Broad experience of various maintenance disciplines, design, construction and process knowledge.
• Proficiency in English required, familiarity with Russian is an advantage.
• Accountable for delivery of planned and unplanned maintenance activities and budget.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors and maintain cost effective and high quality service.
• Participate in further development of computerized and integrated maintenance systems.

The candidate must be a team player in a challenging environment, have high degree of initiative and self-motivation, enterprising, systematic, goal orientated and energetic. Furthermore the candidate must have strong collaboration as well as planning skills.
