Job Description: 
Must Have Skills - Technical Skills: 


1.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills 
2.Should have at least 2 years of working experience in the J2EE technologies like Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JNDI, JavaBeans, Log4J etc 
3.Should have good understanding and practical experience in J2EE Design patterns, best practices, commonly used 3rd part Java APIs/tools, Weblogic or any other J2EE application server. 
4.Should have good understanding and practical experience in SQL; preferably in database design, Stored Proc, functions etc. Knowledge in MSSQL is an added advantage. 
5.Should have good understanding and at least 2 years of practical experience in J2EE application servers. 
6.Experience in Web logic is an added advantage. 
7.Should have basic administration knowledge in the J2EE application server 
8.Should have experience in build tools like Ant/Maven and version 
control system like VSTS. 


Preferred Skills 


1.Knowledge of EJB, JMS would be an added advantage 
2.Should have good development experience in Web application development using technologies like AJAX, Struts framework, JSF etc using development toolkit like GWT 
3.Understanding of Web services, SOA 
4.Good understanding on distributed computing 
5.Experience or good understanding in messaging, distributed transaction, application server/database clustering, application server/database performance tuning, load-balancing etc 
6.Understanding and practical experience in SDLC. Knowledge in software development methodologies like Agile is good to have 
7.Knowledge on Spring framework 
8.Understanding and practical experience in UML. Experience in Rational Rose/ Rational Architect 


Soft Skills: 
1.Excellent communication skills (oral and written) 
2.Strong team player with ability to work in a team and as an individual contributor 
3.Fast learner, flexible and able to work on multiple tasks
