Job Description
Chosen candidate will perform installation, administration, maintenance, tuning and trouble-shooting of databases. You will also assist application developers in reviewing database design and improving database performance.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Computer-related discipline
- At least 3 - 5 years of relevant technical experience as an Oracle DBA in UNIX or LINUX environment
- Good to have exposure in a production support environment
- Must have experience in UNIX Scripting & PL/SQL development
- Good working experience in My SQL Sever database administration
- Able be deployed on 24x7 support and perform rotating shift duties
- Technically independent with good initiative
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve production database issues
- Good communication & interpersonal skills

Job Description
Key Areas of Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes
The Senior Quality Assurance Officer participates in projects to ensure delivery quality within established methodologies and standards by taking a quality assurance role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Produce software test plans, performance test plans and other plans required
- Review and supplement System and UAT test cases to ensure comprehensive testing in meeting project requirements
- Co-ordinate with development team to conduct system test
- Co-ordinate between development team and users to conduct UAT
- Play an auditing role to ensure system and UAT test cases are executed properly and within schedule
- Track bugs resulted from system and UAT testing using defect management tool and to ensure the bugs are properly fixed
- Monitor and ensure established methodologies and standards for processes are being followed in projects
- Provide post project feedback to process managers for quality issues to assist in continuous improvement for quality
- Assist in achieving performance targets set for the QA process
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university
- 3 to 4 years in development with actual experience of full development life cycle
- Have worked in the capacity of Quality Assurance in an project team environment
- Adequate technical knowledge or Web development including HTML, XML, Java, JSP, JavaScript, Oracle, etc
- Experience in operating in multi-cultural environments
- Understanding of web applications & e-Commerce B2B business
Personal Skills & Abilities
- Proactive attitude, capable of thinking in and out of the box, generating new ideas
- Able to juggle multiple priorities, issues and goals
- Good written & oral communication skills in English and Mandarin, as well as possessing good consultative and presentation skills
