I am working on a vacancy for my client based in Aberdeen for the role of Senior Drilling Engineer.
This would be permanent role with approximately 180days offshore depending on requirement.
Salary banding is £60k - £90k with field rate £100-150.
 
Key Responsibility
 
To provide Well Engineering and Construction specialist support, input and advice to clients with respect to the Planning and Operational Phase of the Well Construction process for their upcoming Drilling operations.
 
To evaluate, prepare and assist the client with the design of each drilling program, whilst coordinating all data, equipment and requirements to enable delivery of the agreed well objectives in a safe, environmentally and effective manner.
To be the technical, operational and engineering focal point for assigned regional projects, lending support to ensure Drilling Operations run smoothly and ensure all daily and end of well deliverables meets or exceeds client requirements.  
Perform as an effective liaison and communication with key clients..
 
Coordinate the engineering process from basis of design, through FEED to project execution.
Coordinate and participate in DWOP, HAZOP and HAZID exercises.
Be instrumental in the development of the business unit and new technology as well as making continuous effort to improve service quality by well researched applications, new tools and techniques.
Provide technical support to the Business Development team in pursuit of new opportunities, provide technical presentations and perform customer visits as required.
The Preparation of Commercial Proposals, tender Submissions, Drilling Programs, and engineering reports.
