Job Description:

- Perform code builds and deployments to development environments

- Assist with coordinating the use of various development environments by multiple development teams

- Promote code in source control and work with developers to resolve overlaps

- Assist production support teams with deployment steps for releases

- Troubleshoot issues in development environments

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:

- 1+ years of experience with configuration management and have worked with one or more source control applications with a solid knowledge of branching and code promotions

- 3-4 years Application Development Experience.

- 3-4 years experience using 3 or more development languages or tools (e.g., C#, ASP.Net, J2EE Application Framework, Siebel, Oblix, etc.)

- 3-4 years experience designing and developing applications on one RDBMS (Oracle or SQL 2000).

- 3-4 years experience designing and developing applications on one operating system (Unix or Windows 2000) or designing complex multi-tiered applications.

- intermediate level of unix skills with some scripting experience

- The ability to learn new tasks quickly and jump quickly from one to the next is a must

- Has had development experience on at least 4 projects with total project team size greater than 3 team members and has acted as lead developer on at least one project impacting multiple business units and providing technical leadership for at least 3 developers.

- Has experience mentoring other members of technical/development staff.

- Has experience working with at least 3 business applications/systems and has also provided tier 4 production support.

Specific work experience/skills required for each individual position to be updated by the hiring manager as these will vary

depending upon whether the position develops user interfaces, middle tier and/or interfaces, database, business intelligence, or packaged applications like Siebel or Rightpoint.


B.S. Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.

•             Establish and maintain test database environments

•             Implement production data server with hot back-ups in production and DR environments

Qualifications:
