Job Discription:

• General - OOAD (using UML), Design Patterns, Arch concepts (mainly
• Abstraction) Arch. Styles, Architectural tradeoffs, Estimation techniques(FP/UCP/3P)
• Java/J2EE - Advanced core java concepts (class loading, garbage collection reflection
• and threads) Struts/Spring MVC, Spring IOC, Hibernate/JPA(or anyother ORM tools),
• Caching, Messaging, Distributed Transaction Processing, Application Server exp. (Weblogic/Websphere/JBossTomcat), basic Database usage/modeling experience and web services implementation knowledge, basic Rich Internet Applications (RIA) knowledge (AJAX/Flex etc)
• J2EE - Integration/Message broker/workflow products/ rule engine experience/(Should at least look for one of the areas)
• Delivery - Understands, and can articulate to others, baseline enterprise software requirements (Logging, Upgrade, API design and lifecycle, scalability, and Performance)
• Architecture, Design Definition, Implementation and Review Technical trouble shooting and crisis resolution
• Customer Interaction and Solution presentation Driving Engineering Rigor practices and automation at project / account level
• Pre-Sales - Technical Solution for proposals
• Estimation support and review
• Organization - Participation in Engineering reviews as SME (Architecture,Design and
• Code)
• Conduct Training to project teams in area of expertise based on requirements
• Methodology - Waterfall, RUP, Iterative and Agile
• Configuration Management & Release Management
• Knowledge of Disaster recovery, failover, load balancing and clustering techniques
• Application Performance Tuning using tools like JProfile, Load Runner.
• SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)- basic understanding of SOA should be fine
• Application & Application Server Migration
• Experience level: 9 – 12 yrs.
