JOB SUMMARY
Manage the corporate software development tools & systems.Evaluate, implement and maintain various software development tools deployed across our global development offices.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* 7+years exp.evaluating, deploying and/or supporting software development environment tools
* Defining and implementing integrated tools environment
* Supporting a variety of software development tools
* Working with multiple locations to establish common tool & practice standards
* Practical exp with Configuration Management release and build procedures in an embedded software environment
(multi-site & replication support exp a plus)
* Linux & Windows systems administration exp
* Subversion and Apache administration
* Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, Bash shell, DOS shell)
* Exp with web-based tool deployment and support is a plus
* Supporting SCRUM or other agile process tool environments is a plus
* Working in global organization is a plus
* Strong communication & documentation skills
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Working closely with software development groups to define, architect, progressively build and mtaintain – a standard integrated tool environment
- engineering project management and data/info (metrics) environment
- engineering reuse & collaboration environment
- Create tool related training
- Work with IT department to ensure proper network & server infrastructure needs are met for sw development
