Faculty Required in The University of Bahrain

The University of Bahrain is in process of offering a number of academic posts to suitable applicants at various levels (Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor).
The University enjoys an excellent reputation in the Gulf region, operating under two campuses and includes Eight colleges: Business and Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Science, Arts, Education, Law
and BTC in the following areas of specialization for the academic year 2009/2010:

* College of Business Administration (Ph.D.).
* College of Information Technology (Ph.D.)
* College of Engineering (Ph.D. & Msc).
* College of Law (Ph.D.).
* College of Science (Ph.D.).

Recruitment Conditions:
1. Applications with the specializations listed must be holders of a Ph.D. from a recognized University.
2. The minimum qualification for the Architecture and Interior Design is the Master Degree, applicant must fill in the

3. Applicants should have worked in a recognized University, and have experience in teaching and academic works
(with not less than 5 years experience).
4. Appointees may be required to teach lower level courses at undergraduate level in any specialization within the subject area.

The University of Bahrain offers the following benefits:

1. The contract will be for two years, renewable.
2. Suitable furnished accommodation will be provided.
3. Free medical services within the Kingdom Health System for the appointee and dependant family.
4. Return air tickets for the appointee, spouse and up to 2 dependant children under 18 years of age
for travel TO and FROM Bahrain, including summer vacation.
5. Half additional month's salary for each year completed at the University of Bahrain.
6. Allowance for shipment of some academic personal effects.
7. Salary will depend on the degree, academic post and experience (The exchange for One Bahraini Dinar BD,1= $
2.64).
