With a pipeline of expansion and development projects in key growth markets, including India, China and the Middle East, capacity is expected to rise to around 95 million TEU over the next ten years.
About the Role:
Responsible for assisting the Business Information Manager / PROMIS Project Manager in managing projects. In particular, he is to manage the project called B2B Partner Gateway, which is EDI between DP World and shipping lines.Responsible for collecting information related to projects and in analyzing the project status against the agreed baselines. Responsible for documenting business requirements and coding programs to produce ad-hoc reports and minor software applications and coordinating workflow.
Key accountabilities will include:

• Monitors project progress against cost, time and scope baseline.
• Manage Project documentation.
• Compile and present project status reports.
• Assign resources to project or assign request to resource group for scheduling.
• Prepare and monitor project plans.
• Communication to all project stakeholders.
• Review and rollout complete solution

Skills, Experience & Qualification:
In order to give credible support to the organisation and be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and qualifications:
Qualifications
Essential:-
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management with 5+ years of relevant experience Or Diploma in Computer Science or Management with 8+ years of relevant experience
Desirable:-
Certification in Project Management

Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management methodology applied to software development projects, SQERT based project Analysis, Project management tools like MS Project, Resource management methodology and tools, Software development experience in coding computer programs is preferred.
Application Programming - The ability to code and test modules that meet the design specifications. Business Recovery - The ability to develop, document and test plans for disaster recovery and business continuity Change Management Analysis and Processes - The ability to coordinate changes, recognize potential problems and understand impacts before changes are implemented Configuring & Optimizing the System - The ability to ensure optimum system operation through the use of system rules, control parameters or commands Database Management Systems - The ability to utilize DBMS packages
