Job Description
This position functions as a senior level systems specialist in the Business Application Department. Provides technical and application support for the automated Web Services Landscape and related applications in order to optimize and maintain the operational of the said systems, performs systems project work; and does other related work as required. To be the point of contact to 3rd Party vendors for technical enquiries and managing support activities.

Knowledge Skills and Experience required for the role:
* Experience in Content Management and general Media Asset Management practices.
* Strong project management skills for completing major system upgrades in order to meet overall project
plans.
* Strong knowledge of web application architecture, web site structure and web site server side technologies
configuration
* Highly self-motivated and able to work well individually or as part of a team
* ITIL foundation, Change management, Incident Management, Problem Management, etc.
* Strong JSP/XHTML/HTML/CSS knowledge
* Experience with JSP/Ajax
* Strong J2EE Software Development knowledge
* Experience with Lucene search engine
* Web services and XML
* SOA frameworks and Web services integration via SOAP, XML-RPC etc.
* database systems and programming, including but not limited to SQL Server 2000, 2005
* Solid working experience with web technologies such as OOP design patterns, Action Script, Flash, AJAX,
QuickTime, Windows Media Player, Java Applets, JavaScript, and other internet technologies.
* Comprehensive knowledge of deployment strategies of distributed and multi-tiered applications.
* Programming in any other languages is preferred especially web based scripting languages.
* Technical assistance on project reviews and guidance on recommendation implementations
* Architectural improvements and stabilization projects
* Standard Intranet/Internet services such as ftp and LAN/WAN infrastructures and protocols.
