GlobalLogic Bangalore Requirements Below:

1.       C++/ Telecom (1 to 3.5 years AND 6 to 8 years) – 2 Positions:

Strong development expertise in C/C++ for telecom products
Hands on working experience in Solaris / Unix flavors OS
Experience in Socket programming, multithreaded environment, data structures
Should have very good analytical skills, debugging/ multithreaded/ performance/ ipc issues using Solaris/Unix tools, utilities provided by OS
Familiarity to any database like My SQL etc is desirable
wireless domain experience. GSM / UMTS is desired.
Exposure to SS7, Sigtran, ASN.1, Scripting is desirable
Excellent professional attitude.

2.      Java Developers (2 to 4years) – 5 positions

Experience with Core JAVA, JSP, Servlet, XML, and EJB
At least 2 years experience with JAVA development environments and OO development methodology
Experience with J2EE application servers, especially Apache-Tomcat- JBoss is required
Working knowledge of industry proven java and J2ee design patterns and frameworks



3.      Senior Project Engineer (5 to 11years) – 2 positions

Senior Project Engineer is responsible for technical solutions delivery and customer acceptance of Polaris projects. In this role, you will be an important member of the Operations team and a lead member of the technical team responsible for overall technical success of Polaris Wireless project implementation.


Overview of Responsibilities

Responsible for technical aspects of end-to-end solutions delivery, deployment, system integration,  and customer acceptance of the project
Support project/program management for project planning, scheduling, technical risk assessment and mitigation
Create RF coverage map, RF signature database and troubleshoot radio prediction performance to ensure Polaris Wireless meets its accuracy commitments
Lead on-site troubleshooting efforts, and work with engineering and development (system integrator and RF engineers) teams for a quick resolution
Act as a prime point of contact with the customer for all technical issues during the all post- sales phases including field integration and customer acceptance
Prepare and present regular project status report for internal and external stakeholders
Maintain current knowledge of relevant emerging technologies
Provide system support to product marketing and product development on a need basis
Prepare  technical training material, and deliver training programs towards external customers

4.      Project Manager (10 to 14years) - 1 position - Operations

Project Manager is a key member of the operations team and will be responsible for all aspects related to successful implementation and deployment of the Polaris Wireless Products among Tier I, Tier II and Tier III wireless carriers. In this role, work closely with the technical team responsible for deploying and supporting Polaris Wireless software.

Overview of Responsibilities
Responsible for successful delivery of projects and programs.
Ensure the project is planned, executed, tracked and leveraged in accordance with the project management plans.
Develops implementation project schedule for all assigned projects (as per Polaris implementation processes)
Run complex projects from customer requirements, through design, development and test to production.
Be on-site at the Customer location, and identify scope, organize, sequence, and manage Customer work activities needed to conduct the project.
Monitors progress against the schedule and makes changes as appropriate
Monitor activities occurring at the Customer’s end to help ensure that deliverables are met on a timely basis.
Maintains issues, actions and risks log and assists in attaining resolution
Efficiently identifies and solves project issues.
Facilitate decision-making process and recommend course of actions
Provides status reports to both internal parties (including Sr. management) and Customer
Coordinates/ facilitates meetings and responsible for documenting decisions/action items
Manage and negotiate with local partners and vendors and meet the program management deployment plan related to these partners/vendors.
Efficiently manage change control process for products and deliverables
Develop and present customer quotes, negotiate project extensions and customer charges
Design and maintain technical and project documentation.
Have strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.

5.       System Architect – 2 Resources

Minimum of 8 years of experience in wireless product design and development

Experience in systems engineering processes; proven ability to take concepts into
deployable systems.

Must have proven wireless standards experience,
Must have a broad working knowledge of communication and data processing
technologies, systems, and products (preferably in wireless).
Very good understanding of various wireless standards (such as GSM, IS136, CDMA and
UMTS) at the network and preferably also at the radio interface.
Has developed and deployed telecom carrier grade products.
Very familiar with developing real time carrier grade telecom software, spanning system,
functional and FCAPS.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent people and project management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to prepare and present
comprehensive presentations to customers at all levels.
