Description: I currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to join a Media/advertising based company in London if you want to be part of a leading company and have the drive to succeed then this is the role for you.
You will need the following experience
Ideally you will have experience working in the media industry but candidates who want to make the transition into this will be considered
Strong java development experience with a deep understanding of the language and core Java API's
Excellent Core J2SE 6 programming ability
Extensive experience of writing JSP's and Servlets
Experience of developing fast, highly transactional, multi-threading applications
A good working knowledge of (D)HTML and Javascript
Code optimisation and profiling tools (e.g. JProfiler)
Good Knowledge of SQL MySQL
Fluent and articulate in English
JUnit Testing framework
It would be desirable to have the following
Test Analysis/semantic processing
experience with Eclipse IDE
Subversion
Selenium
Linux
You will responsible for helping to develop maintain core applications run on there large international network, You will be interacting with both the technical and commercial staff to understand requirements and develop ideas
