I m immediately looking to fill upto 10 positions for Project Managers with 7-10 yrs strong experience in the telecom industry especially with end-2-end infrastructure related projects. 
Local experience is a must (with government institutions a bonus).

Also required is a technical background with networking gear (routers, switches, data-center equipment, structured cabling etc.). PMP certification desirable but not must. Candidates who have hand-on experience and proven track record of successful delivery will be given preference. 
The role would be a 1 yr contract position, based either in Dubai or Abudhabi and demanding a lot of coordination (logistical etc.) between various stakeholders.  If you fit the profile and are interested, kindly email me your CV at sultan.adeel@ gmail.com

Following is a brief of responsibilities:

• The development and upkeep of the project plans and  Provision of regular reports
• Liaising with the vendor/partner project managers to ensure seamless integration and coordination of tasks.
• Managing project changes conducting communications and change plans with the customer project manager
• Managing and tracking all sub contractor related to his tasks and deliverables
• Liaising with the appropriate counterpart from the customer/partners team
• Working with relevant resources from the vendor and partners pmo’s
• Managing project risk and Day-to-day co-ordination of project activities for his/her tasks
• Responsible for translating any new business requirements into technical specifications
• Managing and conducting communications and change plans with the project manager

In addition to the role described above for collaboration with the Customer Project Team, this resource will also be responsible for managing the relationship with the sub Contractors, as follows:

• Establishing agreed timelines and responsibilities
• The preparation of project progress reports and the updating of the overall project schedule based on input from the subcontractor on their assigned activities.
• Managing and conducting communications and change plans with the sub contractors project managers
• Co-ordinate, facilitate and actively involve in the activities conducted by the sub-contractors.
• Management of the Acceptance Process agreed with sub contractors.

This position will require moderate to extensive travelling within UAE and specifically within the emirate of Abudhabi
 
The candidate should have a technical degree in engineering and/or computer science, be well versed with project management methodologies specifically PMI, with at least 5 years experience in managing networking/infrastr ucture related projects. PMI certification will be beneficial but not required. The candidate should also possess at least 3 years of local (UAE) working experience especially with the government entities.
