Software Engineer – Business Objects
2 Responsibilities

Participate and will drive the Requirements gathering, high-level and low-level design.

• Participate in meetings with customers/MU project team on solution issues.
• Code and unit test in conformance to standards and design specifications
• Prepare unit test, system test and acceptance test plan
• Mentor junior programmers and steer
• Participate and drive design review and code review.
• Participate in installation, integration and User Acceptance testing
• Handle change requests related to the solutions
• Participate in solving support issues/change requests in the support phase
• Follow configuration and release management processes.

3 Qualification & Experience

• Overall project experience for 4-5 years:
• Following are the mandatory skill sets that shall be expected by the recruiting organization
• 2 -3 Years on Business Object overall (report development and universe design)
• Very Good knowledge in databases (Sybase, SQL )
• Very Good knowledge in Solaris & Windows operating system
• Knowledge on IDE, SDK
• Basic understanding of mobile networks

Additional Preference will be given to candidates with the below skill sets
Knowledge on OSS/Performance Management environment Background
