With reference to your CV, we would like to inform you the following Job Vacancy for one of our prestigious overseas clients:
FOR MEP DEPARTMENT :
DESIGN ENGINEER (PLUMBING) : The candidate should be a Mechanical Engineer (Degree holder) with 8-10 years of minimum experience in the field of design of Plumbing related works with reputed Electro-mechanical/ Mechanical or MEP companies specialized in building projects like Universities/ Institutions/ Residential and Commercial Complexes /IT Park etc. The candidate should be fully conversant with all the aspects of design issues of these services along with all the relevant codes/local and international standards/software to prepare design and shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, Plumbing/ P & I Diagrams etc., pumping set and all other relevant equipments sizing for all these services , isometrics ,instrumentation drawings related to such fields.
MECHANICAL ENGINEERS - PLUMBING /FIRE FIGHTING : College/University Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 yrs design & construction experience. Candidate must have management experience in Building Services/Site installation. Candidate must be familiar with Air Handlers, Exhaust Fans, Chillers, Split unit, Sanitary System, Potable Hot & Cold Water System, Storm Water System, Fire Suppression System & BMS System. You must be able to Commission all HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Suppression Systems. Capable of doing the hydraulic calculations for pipe sizing etc. You should have basic working knowledge of all MS Office related work.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER ( MV /LV /LOW CURRENT SYSTEMS) : BE (Electrical) with minimum 7-8 yrs experience preferably in an MEP Contracting Company. Conversant with the relevant IS/ IEC/ BS/ NEC Electrical codes and practices. Capable of guiding and leading a team of engineers and CAD operators. Possess sound knowledge on Electrical System Design (MV/LV), Short Circuit Calculations, Discrimination study between LV and MV, Lighting Calculations, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Data Communication, Voice, CCTV, net working, Gas & Water Based Fire Protection System, Lightning Protections, BMS, HVAC controls, Earthing, Cable routing through trenches, ducts, trays etc. Selection and application of Transformers, Motors, Switchgears, Control Gears, Light fittings, UPS, Battery and Battery Chargers, DG sets etc. Preparation of specifications for all electrical items, basic drawings etc.
QA/QC ENGINEER (MECHANICAL) : College/University Degree in Mechanical Engineering with thorough knowledge of QAP, QMP, and materials and site quality procedures in the construction field of Building services specially Fire fighting/Plumbing & drainage works as per ISO standards. He should be able to prepare and guide and ensure the quality standards as required as per the specifications and relevant standards for all such works. He should be capable of preparing all the relevant documentations with statutory approvals as per the requirements of the project. He should be responsible for all the timely inspections related works with its approval from the Client/Consultant of all such works. He should be able to prepare the quality based reports for monthly submission as well as daily/weekly reports for the Senior management/Consulta nt/Client.
TESTING AND COMMISSIONING ENGINEER (FIRE FIGHTING/ MECHANICAL) : College/University Degree in Mechanical Engineering with thorough knowledge of Testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of Complete fire fighting systems for mainly Building services projects as per the norms and standards. He should be able to prepare and guide and ensure all the testing and commissioning related works as required as per the specifications and relevant standards for all such works. He should be capable of preparing all the relevant documentations with statutory approvals as per the requirements of the project.He should be responsible for all the timely inspections related works with its approval from the Client/Consultant of all such works. He should be able to prepare the testing and commissioning reports and would be responsible for its approval as per the standards and approved procedures/method statements.
QUANTITY SURVEYOR (HVAC/MECHANICAL) : Proven 7-8 yrs experience in managing challenging & complicated MEP projects preferably in MEP/ Electro-mechanical company(ies) . Commercial /contractual experience & ability to interface at a higher level. International /overseas experience desirable but not essential. Quantity Surveying or other relevant construction industry degree (or equivalent) from a recognized institution or similar professional accreditation is desirable. Complete knowledge of Billing procedure is required.
PROJECT MANAGER (HVAC) : The candidate should be a degree holder in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 12-15 yrs experience in HVAC / Electro-mechanical company(ies) .He should be able to create and execute project work plans within stipulated time and budget, identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities of his team members, manage day-to-day operational aspect of a project and scope, review deliverables prepared by team before passing to Client, effectively apply methodology and enforce project standards, quality assurance and risk management procedures, ensure project documentation done in a systematic manner, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collection, manage sub-contractors, follow up with Client on all relevant issues, analyze project profitability, effective communication and reporting with the Client/Consultant and the Senior Management within organisations.
HVAC PROJECT ENGINEER : College/University Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7-8 yrs of design and construction experience. Candidate must have knowledge of Building Services/Site installation for specially HVAC works. He should be responsible for shop drawing approval and the execution of work as per the standard procedures and guidelines of the project. He should be capable of preparing all the drawing and material schedule and status , method statements, meeting with the Consultant/Client/ Subcontractor/ Co-contractor/ Main Contractor for resolving any site or work related issues. He should be able to prepare the progress report for monthly submission as well as daily/weekly reports for the Senior management/Consulta nt/Client. He will be also responsible for the progress of work at site along with proper invoicing of material and work.
